Computer Vision: towards an automated recognition of communicative gestures

To make the communicative meaning of human gestures be studied, it is needed to collect large amounts of data. The software system I developed, make it an easyest job due to the automated analysis of the human gestures starting from a video.
The developed software system can automatically recognize and classify human communicative gestures done by a people talking and moving his hands in front of a camera. The purpose of this thesis work is to make possible to study correlation between highlights gesture and speech.
The developed software system is for researchers in communication and human-machine interaction.
